Lemonade Day Fond du Lac is just around the corner on Saturday, May 6. Registration is now open for area 4th - 6th grade students to participate in this fun learning experience. Registration is available online at http://bit.ly/LemonadeDayFDL or in person at the Fond du Lac Area Association of Commerce, 207 North Main Street, Fond du Lac. The registration deadline is Monday, February 6.
Lemonade Day is an experiential program that teaches kids how to start, own and operate their very own business: a lemonade stand. Students are mentored through 14 curriculum lessons which develop business and life skills including goal setting, budgeting and marketing, amongst others. Upon completion of the curriculum, students will put their knowledge into action when they launch their lemonade stand business on Saturday, May 6. This program is free for students due to the generosity of many area business sponsors.
Once registration concludes, participants will be contacted by the Lemonade Day Fond du Lac team when the student backpacks and workbooks are available. Supplies will either be delivered or available for pick-up at the Fond du Lac Area Association of Commerce Office.
Lemonade Day Fond du Lac is a program of Fond du Lac Works, a division of the Fond du Lac Area Association of Commerce. For more information, visit www.fdlworks.com/students or call the Association of Commerce at (920) 921-9500.
