Morning networking at its best! Coffee Connections allow business representatives to give a 30 second commercial about his or her business. Representatives are encouraged to bring brochures or other handouts while the host is invited to address the crowd with a more detailed commercial message. If your company is interested in hosting a Coffee Connection, please call 920-921-9500.

Habitat for Humanity of Fond du Lac County is a nonprofit, nondenominational Christian housing ministry organized to work with the local community to build simple, decent, affordable houses with those who lack adequate shelter. Habitat for Humanity was founded on the belief that individuals can make a difference in their local communities. Funds, building materials and labor are donated by individuals, churches, corporations and other organizations who share the goal of eliminating substandard housing in the world.

For 17 years, Habitat for Humanity of Fond du Lac County has been building a sense of community, creating economic vitality, stabilizing neighborhoods, and making the issue of sub-standard housing a matter of conscience for all people. In 2012, Habitat added more than $40,000 to the tax base of the city and county through Habitat built homes. Since its start in 1996, the affiliate has built 22 homes in Fond du Lac County and will be building three additional homes in 2013.

Habitat for Humanity relies on community partners along with 1,200+ volunteers from 2012 to help continue its mission and build a stronger community. Other stakeholders that helped ensure a successful build in 2012 included the City/County of Fond du Lac, CitizensFirst, First Weber Foundation, Fond du Lac Area Foundation, Gannett Foundation, J.F. Ahern, Lowe's, Thrivent Financial, Wal-Mart, Wells Fargo, U.S. Bank and United Way. Without partnerships with these stakeholders, as well as the general support of the community, Habitat for Humanity of Fond du Lac County would not be able to provide the safe, affordable housing that it does on an annual basis.
