ACU - Podcasting for Business Made Easy

Don't let the idea of podcasting scare you. For about $100 worth of recording equipment, any business can start to produce a podcast, which are online audio-only broadcasts. Our presenter will share his experiences of how his company got into podcasting, including how they brainstorm relevant content and rough out scripts and interview questions. He'll walk you through the technical process of capturing and posting the podcast. You'll discuss how podcasting can be used in your business and come away with creative, fresh ideas for driving traffic to your website.

Legislative Breakfast

All AC members are invited to attend a breakfast in Appleton on Monday, February 22. The AC with the chambers of Oshkosh, Fox Cities and Green Bay, will present the 2010 Northeast Wisconsin Legislative Agenda at 7:30 a.m. at the Radisson Inn Paper Valley Hotel. The agenda is a cooperative, four-chamber project that maximizes the impact and attention given to issues that affect businesses throughout the valley. All state elected officials and local government officials from Northeast Wisconsin are invited. The breakfast gives AC members an opportunity to meet and discuss issues of importance with the people who are able to make change.
Former State Revenue Secretary Richard Chandler will speak about his recently published study, “The Wisconsin State Budget Outlook: The Worst is Yet to Come.” Dan Ariens, president and CEO of the Ariens Co., also has been invited to speak on the state’s global warming initiatives.
