AGRICULTURAL AMBASSADOR PROGRAM

Mission of the Agricultural Ambassador Program:
To educate, communicate and promote agricultural knowledge to the community while providing a positive identity for all aspects of agribusiness.

Vision of the Agricultural Ambassador Program
To raise the awareness level of the importance of agriculture in our society and the integral role agriculture has on the business economy.

The Fond du Lac Area Agricultural Ambassador Program is directed by the Fond du Lac Agri-Business Council, a division of the Association of Commerce. The program was developed out of a need to educate and inform adults and youth about the production and nutritional value of agricultural products produced in our community or state, as well as the impact agriculture has our daily lives. The Agricultural Ambassador presents various educational programs in schools free of charge. Topics include: health and nutrition, consumer buying habits, food safety, economics, agricultural careers and agricultural production. The Agricultural Ambassador Program is a non-profit entity. Donations and grants are the main source of funding. For more information, contact the Association of Commerce at (920) 921-9500.
