This two-hour workshop will discuss how to finance the startup, growth and expansion of a small business. In addition to traditional and non-traditional equity and debt financing, there will also be a discussion of local, state and federal programs for small business.

In addition to time for questions and answers, each workshop participant will receive a notebook with useful information and forms, along with contact information for local organizations which provide free assistance to small business.

Marian College's Adult Accelerated Program (MAAP) will host the June Coffee Connection. MAAP has several degree options for the working adult. Undergraduate programs are available in general management, operations management, marketing, human resources, communication, interdisciplinary studies, nursing, criminal justice and radiologic technology. Graduate programs are also available in business, nursing and education. There is also a Ph.D. available. Programs are delivered in a variety of formats.

MAAP is one of the oldest adult-focused programs in the state. Tradition and quality are woven in all of Marian's programs. The Coffee Connection will take place at the meeting center hub on campus, Common Grounds.

Get acquainted with your fellow business
owners, managers and AC members. Share a quick commercial on your business. Take advantage of an open-networking format and still be to work by 8:40 a.m.

Eden Meat Market specializes in retailing an extensive variety of fresh meat and homemade sausages still smoked the same way in our original smokehouses.

Our family purchased the Eden Café in 1994, which offers a family-style casual dining experience. Soon after the Eden Café was purchased, we began our Eden Catering service. Customers can arrange to pick up their meal, have it delivered, or have the full-service catering up to 500 people. A variety of meats, side dishes, salads and party trays are available.

In 2004, Eden Corner Express was added to our growing business. Recently we’ve expanded our fuel choices by offering ethanol, an alternative fuel from corn.
